God on Duty began with a running joke in the studio: GG wears the same black hoodie almost every day. For someone working in fashion, it has been called decidedly unfashionable. She disagrees. Some things stay with us simply because they feel right — familiar, timeless, and easy to return to. The black hoodie remains deliberately ordinary, while floor-length greyish-blue tulle falls from the shoulders and extends its shape beyond the body. The contrast turns a piece of everyday clothing into something unexpectedly ceremonial, without taking away the familiarity that made it worth wearing in the first place.
